Nestled in one of Valletta’s oldest and most charming streets – Strada Stretta (Straight Street), our beloved restaurant is housed in a building that has stood for over 400 years, built during the time of the Knights of St. John. This rich history is part of what makes dining at Papannis so special ✨

With extensive experience managing several other well-loved restaurants, we are excited to bring fresh energy and new ideas to Papannis Restaurant.

We’re working hard on a refreshed menu that will continue to delight the taste buds of Papannis loyal patrons while also exciting the palates of new guests. Whether you’re a long-time visitor or discovering us for the first time, the new menu promises a culinary experience you won’t forget 👨‍🍳

As we move forward, we’re also planning some minor changes to the look and feel of the restaurant after the Christmas season, ensuring that Papannis remains both a feast for the eyes and a welcoming space for all 🙏
